About Barbara May

Barbara has a great deal of experience and first hand information to share about improving performance in the workplace. She uses personal stories, humorous examples and audience participation to deliver her key message, "If you are willing to get back up after a fall, almost anything can be achieved."

Barbara May's career accomplishments include:

  • Facilitating more than 400 Career and Employment Workshops.
  • Working as a School Counsellor, Special Education Teacher, Sport Consultant and Executive Director. (more than 20 years)
  • Acting in several television commercials including "Bright Nights" and "Buffet Royal".
  • Joking her way into the Guinness World Records by performing in the longest stand-up comedy show in history.
  • Hosting Access Television's "May We Talk?". Interviewing business owners on the Learning & Job News.
  • Receiving the 3M Coach Recognition Award for her "Outstanding Contribution to the Sport Community".
  • Teaching the National Coaching Certification Program's "How to Coach" course for coaches. (15 years).
