White Collar Crime
by trusted "criminals"

Location: Lethbridge, Alberta

Reputation: National

Larry Elford will offer an articulate expert’s glimpse behind the curtains, into the world of your investments as well as public money entrusted to governments, pension funds and institutions. In his presentation, White Collar Crime, audience members will hear how millions of dollars can be diverted from your pockets and your governments’, into the hands of others and how self-regulation can lead to decriminalization. Larry states that “My mission is to prevent financial abuse of some 30 million Canadians.” Larry’s passion is to work today writing, speaking and coaching Canadians and legislators on how to create safe and honest treatment for investors.

The Minister of State for Finance said of Larry's speaking style:"Larry punches pretty hard". Larry calls it "full contact financial truth". Larry speaks about topics that are considered taboo, in some circles. Be warned. Larry speaks the truth about financial systems and investments. He cares more about suicides and investors' trauma than about banks and other financial institutions. He says: "If you want the truth about it, you might want to hear me out." By citing public examples, he'll tell audience members how certain "professionals" can get away with cheating Canadians out of billions of dollars. Not many speakers can manage that. Larry can demonstrate insider tricks of the trade that will cause most North Americans to retire with HALF as much money as they should retire with, unless they become aware. Is there an intentional focus on criminal enforcement for the poor and the middle class, while deliberately ignoring crimes of the rich? What if your governments were aiding the criminally rich and privileged, by focusing 99.9% of crime effort on the rest?

Larry Elford is acclaimed as one of Canada’s top qualified experts on the subject of White Collar Crime. He is a retired CFP, (Chartered Financial Planner), a CIM, (Certified Investment Manager) by the Canadian Securities Institute, a FCSI, (Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute), the highest designation awarded by the Canadian Securities Institute to those for top achievements in educational and industry accomplishments. He is also an Associate Portfolio Manager and Director of the Canadian Justice Review Board of Canada. Larry is often called upon as an expert with national broadcasters like CTV, Global and CBC.

Larry worked inside the largest financial institutions in Canada for twenty years until his retirement in 2004. He works today writing, speaking and coaching Canadians on how to create safe and honest treatment for investors.

Larry Elford is also an author and film producer. He was included in John Lawrence Reynolds’ second edition bestselling book, The Naked Investor, Why Almost Everybody But You Gets Rich On Your RRSP and Bruce Livesey's yet to be released 2012 book, Thieves of Bay Street, How Banks, Brokerages and the Wealthy Steal Billions from Canadians. He produced a compelling documentary film, Breach of Trust, The Unique Violence of White Collar Crime, to benefit investors, legislators and those who investigate financial crime.
