Carole Anne is a proud French-Canadian. She was born and raised in Canada’s Capital. She landed her first on-air gig as a student reporter with CTV Ottawa, and stayed on with the station for more than four years. Her experience then took her to Parliament Hill, where she reported for a French political TV show, on CPAC. She is a distinguished winner of a Canada-wide Television News Directors AssociationAward for producing an undercover investigative series on out-of-town vehicle inspections.

In 2008, Carole Anne decided to move West, after accepting a position with CBC Edmonton. The long drive across the country took her more than thirty-nine (39) hours!

When Carole Anne isn’t anchoring the news, she’s off travelling the world, much to the dismay of her employers who always reply “You want time off AGAIN?!” Twenty-four countries… and counting.

Carole Anne speaks three languages fluently: English, French and Spanish. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the Carleton University’s School of Journalism and with a Minor in Spanish. She also spent an entire summer in Spain honing her Spanish.

Carole Anne has successfully many events in Edmonton, including Earth Day, the River City Roundup Kick Off, The Winter City Strategy, all at City Hall, The St. Albert Children's Festival Cupcake Challenge, Meals on Wheels' The Grape Escape Wine Fundraiser, The Alberta Cancer Foundation’s Bust-a-Move For Breast Health and the Edmonton Indy Drivers' Party.

Carole Anne a strong passion to help seniors. Her first job was at a nursing home in Ottawa. She believes that: “Elderly people are so insightful and full of stories. I spent a lot of time with my grandfather who was also living at the nursing home. It was precious to have the opportunity to see him daily”. Her work experience with seniors is what led Carole Anne to get involved with Meals on Wheels.

Carole Anne believes in keeping fit. She enjoys golfing, writing, working out, dancing, singing, and trying out the latest and trendiest eateries in the city of Edmonton.
