Betty K. Cooper is one of the most respected and talented speaker and speaking coach in North America. She is also an inspiring Keynote speaker, workshop and seminar facilitator, speech creator and consultant. Her presentations and her coaching have motivated thousands to reach inside and rediscover their positive powers and their communicating abilities.
In addition to the speaking and coaching work that has changed so many lives, Betty’s credits include:
- five years as a daily TV host;
- nine years as a daily commentator and documentary producer, CBC Radio; (in effect writing and presenting a speech every week day)
- two years as Executive Producer, Current Affairs, CBC Radio where she created and produced the Eye Opener; the Noon Phone in Talk Show and the Drive Home Show. Also over 500 national & inter-nation items including co-producing the first three programs Peter Gzowsky performed outside of Toronto CBC.
- Instructor and Coordinator, Communications Department, Mount Royal College, Calgary where she redesigned the Broadcast Program. Today it is considered one of the top Broadcast Programs in Canada.
Betty began studying Speech and Drama at age six. She received her first teaching diploma from the International Trinity College, London, at age seventeen and opened her first Communicating School. Her background as a performer, writer, facilitator and coach is well documented.
Today - in addition to keynotes and speeches, much of her coaching is with CEO’s, other senior executives, and professional speakers. She also works closely with direct reports of senior officials, politicians, and any members of the business community who aspire to move up the ladder of success. Her coaching has fast-forwarded many individuals and companies.
Betty is a member of CAPS (Canadian Association of Professional Speakers): NSA (National Speakers Association; SAC (Society for the Advancement of Consultants).
Betty has written two books, Speak With Power and Your PipeLine To Pow!-R-Ful Presentations and five booklets and many articles.
